Stormscapes 3 is for those that enjoy the visual aspect of our beautifully unique Blue Marble's fascinating weather, or those wishing to experience elemental nature in some of its most surreal and chaotic forms. Particularly focusing on severe weather located in the northern high plains region (and adjacent ranges) of the USA. This video showcases a variety of supercells and other rotating storms, spooky night based mesoscale convective systems, atmospheric optics such as rainbows and crepuscular rays, various forms of lightning, and even a rare Shirley Basin, Wyoming tornado.
Recent Eruption of Mt. Etna in Sicily
An angry Mount Etna scorches the skies over Sicily with a tremendous eruption. Taken on December 3 by Sicilian photographer Marco Restivo, 29, these incredible pictures show Europe's tallest active volcano spitting fire and sending plumes of smoke into the air. This is the first eruption to reach the surface of Etna's Voragine crater in two years. Snapper Marco used photo editing software to overlap five images to create one single picture which shows volcano lightning under a cloud of dense smoke.

The Sound of Thunder, without the fear of strikes
Our Rain Noise is by far the most often played sound on myNoise, attracting thousands of visitors every day! It sounds very even, and works perfectly as a noise blocker but also is used to relieve stress and tension. While our rain noise provides a lot of rain, and just a touch of thunder rumble in the lower register, our thunder noise generator is just the opposite: a lot of thunder, and just the right amount of rain to fill in the higher frequencies. The rain on Calm Thunder is slightly more dynamic too, offering subtle variations over time, which is how rain should sound below thunderclouds. Turn the Animate! feature on, to further increase this effect.
This thunder soundscape has been deliberately kept quiet and calm: no instant thunder clap or lightning strike will frighten people with anxiety problems, or astraphobia (the fear of thunder and lightning).

How spring feels in a mixed forest
After winter, comes Spring. This time, we take you on a walk in a forest, at different times of the day, depending on how the sliders have been set.
This soundscape is extraordinary in its ability to stimulate your other senses, with sounds only. Close your eyes and concentrate on what you feel, not only emotionally, but physically. Do you experience the coldness of the early morning hours? The warmth of the day's first ray of sunshine? The heat of a bright afternoon, almost too hot for spring time? Or simply the quietness of a place where the only man-made sound you will hear are the sounds of your own footsteps, as you wander though this unspoiled place.
Use this soundscape whenever you are in need of a vital break. Make sure you leave all your worries behind, even if it is just for a minute or two. Even the shortest pause will help. Spring is synonymous with rebirth and renewal. May this soundscape help you and inspire you.
